Here there is nothing to fight except willfulness.
Some lean too far into the past.
Others stretch way out into the future.
The true warrior stays in the moment,
burning deeper into whatever comes,
or sometimes with even more difficulty,
what doesn't.

Leza Lowitz, from YOGA POEMS: LINES TO UNFOLD BY

I am 59 years old and just retired from my medical practice,
although I still help with surgery when a big cosmetic case needs my assistance.
I was at the Medical Center Clinic for 27 years and loved
my ENT-Facial Plastic Surgery practice.

Chris and I both love the classes and will continue to progress. I have had
many joint operations so the yoga is great for the range of motion, not to mention the strengthening aspects. I am so impressed with the classes.

We have 4 kids all grown, and 3, soon to be 5 grandkids. It is a true joy
to have had these kids, and the grandkids are even more fun.
I am from Oklahoma and Chris is from Kentucky.
We are learning to play golf which is another reason for yoga.

My other passions include reading, motorcycle riding (I have a Harley and a Goldwing), traveling, and just enjoying the freedom of retirement. After all,
I couldn't come to yoga if I wasn't retired. Life is very good
and I thank God everyday.
